Pros

The team work! No one at SnackNation ever says, "well, that's not really my job..." instead you hear, "I'm not sure what the answer is, but let's find it together." Everyone throws him/herself into the melee when asked. Leadership who sit right next to the people doing the work. The SVPs, VPs, and managers sit right in the middle of the action, and they aren't afraid to jump in when they need to (but they never do it in a condescending way--"yeah, yeah, it's just easier if I do it"...they stay out of the way, so you can get stuff done, but are there when you need 'em). Lots of availability to learn the whole business if you want. You might be in Sales or Finance, but if you want to see how they do things at the warehouse, they'll send you there to see how it all works. Also, the lunch and learns deal with current, provocative topics that relate to both business and personal interests. The sessions are conducted by both invited guests and on-site experts. Finally, just the energy in the office (which is a direct reflection of SN leadership). The vivacity you feel when you walk in the door makes you want to give 150% (as everyone else is giving that, too). I never had a day where I didn't feel motivated with the all the "get-up-and-go" that exists regularly in the office.

Cons

I really can't think of any--at least that are not personal and don't belong in an anonymous review.

Pros

The people, free snacks, lots of activities and happy hours, and the people. This organization is unique in the sense that your experience really is up to you, you really have an opportunity to make your own path here but that doesn’t mean it will happen necessarily when YOU WANT it to, or HOW you want it to. The key part to that is having trust in your leadership. That’s not to say it’ll be peaches and cream the entire time... in fact, you will have some of your hardest days, if you really are invested in yourself and the company. You will have days that bring you to your breaking point. But, if you work through that, and most importantly, learn from it and handle it as a professional... you will not regret it. Guaranteed, you will not. I would suggest to anyone who is willing to break themselves down to their core, with the goal of rebuilding yourself; smarter, stronger and becoming infinite times more valuable in your industry at the end of it all; this is your place. If that sounds anything but scary AND exciting, then do not waste your time. Let the person who really wants to become the best version of themselves, have the chance to do so.

Cons

The open office environment isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, so if you’re someone who needs that quieter, smaller personal space to work - you won’t like the office set up.
