Pros

Smart people used to work here, so you'll have great contacts in the LA area to leverage as you get a new job. #connections #networking #everyoneleft

Cons

Three mass layoffs in 2019. Over 100 person turnover THIS year. Mind you, less than 150 people worked here at the start of 2019. Luckily, most people left on their own terms because this company is so evidently nose-diving before the board's eyes. No job security, no growth potential, an environment that is built on judgement, sub-par work, and doom is in sight. Not to mention, you're surrounded by under-qualified coworkers. But, hey, Sean Kelly/ Andy Mack/ Chelsie Lee? You get what you pay for, right? P.S. I would have mentioned Ryan Schneider (former COO/ President), but he recently quit and moved away out of embarrassment. P.P.S. Did I mention that this failing company made the Inc. 500 list 2019? As I mentioned, you get what you pay for.

Run don’t walk

Pros

There are super cute dogs

Cons

Let me put it this way. I have been gone for almost 2 years now and I still get a pit in my stomach thinking about working there. The culture makes me want to vomit. The people who drink the koolaid also make me want to vomit. I met 2 maybe 3 people who were my speed. The rest were lunatics who liked to cheer and dance and follow the culture like a god damn cult. It was crazy. I mean it when I say run don’t walk out of there. Unless you’re a looney toon.

Pros

- snacks - drinks - dogs - brand builder podcast

Cons

- lack of leadership and management - clique-like departments instead of truly being collaborative - never ending and unproductive meetings - constant (unpaid) overtime to meet job responsibilities - company time HEAVILY focused on fun/feelings/opinions, not work
