Pros

It's a 9-5 job. You get one-hour lunches. Good medical/retirement benefits.

Cons

No work from home Managers have a slick way of wanting to know why you took time off. No casual dress code. Most departments work in silos. There's nothing modern about the company. There's no opportunity for growth. No bonuses, no salary raises except for the annual inflation adjustment.

Pros

The benefits are good, you get a lot vacation time but you WILL work while you are on vacation.

Cons

I'm simply not allowed to disconnect AT ALL. I'm expected to report my sales repeatedly throughout the day to my superiors no matter if I'm working or not. I'm exhausted, frustrated, and demoralized. I'm one of the high performers but yet they manage to make me feel like a failure daily. There's always SOMETHING you are doing wrong, from requesting a professional install for an elderly person to not getting your rep observations done when you spent the day being a rep yourself.... you CANNOT win here. I crush my goals monthly but yet I'm told I'm not selling enough and have to report on what I should do better. I have a crazy idea, how about Spectrum advertises that their stores exist instead of letting us be the vultures fighting over the tiny scraps left behind by inbound sales? All this money invested in new stores and all I hear all day is "Oh I didn't know this store was here ".

Not worth it

Pros

Benefits are good. Not much more

Cons

Management is clueless. Forced holidays and over time. Moral is horrible. Compliance over everything including safety. Micromanaged so bad when you stop to use the bathroom your questioned about your status. They continue to implement policies that are negative impacting to technicians and customers. Field techs end up being accountable for the incompetence of all departments. In 3 or 4 years it went from a career to a job (and not a good one). In order to promote you end up having to getting demoted to a bad shift
