People that work there are great human beings. At least in my department.

Cons

Managerial departments do not know what they are doing. Seems like every decision is made on the spot

Pros

- get thrown into the fire and are exposed to a lot of different roles (great for the young pup wanting to learn the ropes about the toy industry) - the opportunity to learn about the toy industry is there, but tasks are assigned and oftentimes, are not assigned to the right people.

Cons

- no room for career advancement - low salary compared to the industry norm - poor compensation - 3 rounds of layoffs in last 4 years (the most recent being about 20% of the company) all because management can't make the right decisions and overpromises on sales. - ppor inventory management lead to the most recent shortcomings of the company. - recently hired over 3 executives from Sharpie to lead the company. They do not know anything about Toys. only penny pinching (large corporation tactics). - upper manage constantly tries to teach "corporate" values which they don't follow themselves.

When I joined the company three years back, it felt like the best workplace. Gradually they started making things hard. Four days in office in winter is crazy. They would say they notified this 7 months back, yes they did but people can't leave jobs like that. They ask to take PTO for the smallest things. Really disappointed.
