      I was made to do minimum wage 'sales with no commission' disguised as 'customer service'

      Pros

      I'd say colleagues but they were in the habit of moving you apart if you didn't meet the very strict KPIs given. It's indoors?

      Cons

      Low wages, minimum breaks, unsociable hours and a disciplinary process that is very incredibly strict and appears designed to push people out - once you're on it, say for being 1 minute late off your break one too many times, it's extremely difficult to get off and you're barred from changing campaigns or applying for other positions. Team leaders were untrained and appeared unable to handle the influx of staff post-crash staff that were much more qualified than them. Then there was the incentive to sell - keep your job. That's right, no reward for meeting sales targets other than staying out of that slippery slope of a disciplinary process.

      Pros

      In my time at Teleperformance, I have met some truly fantastic people and learned some skills and information I would have never gotten to know otherwise.

      Cons

      In saying that, I have also come across some people who are willing to brown nose to better themselves. There are no opportunities to advance unless this is one of your tactics. You're really just a number.
