Limitless potential

Pros

Lots of companies say they're going to change the world. This company may actually do just that. Almost all of the employees join to be part of that change. You develop friendships based on common interests and values that are forged forever by shared battle experiences. The members (people in the space who are not employees) are really interesting and many are inspiring. Also a lot of famous people come through to visit from everywhere like Russian billionaires, Ashton, David Chang (momofuku), Jerry Stackhouse, every big VC, etc.

Cons

It is exhausting physically and mentally. Your family and non-wework friends will not understand and will resent that you're prioritizing work over everything. (It's because there's always so much riding on you finishing as quickly as possible with the highest possible level of quality. This isn't ego. It really is that important or else you will be causing work and problems for someone else on the team who you love.)

Pros

The Mission is our biggest Pro. The mission within our organization is to build great spaces that will help our members in their day to day operations while they strive to accomplish their dreams. We provide incredible working environments that are both professional and fun. Our community managers are encouraged to help our members grow their businesses through introductions and collaborations with other companies within the community locally and Nationwide. Our member base continues to grow with more and more industries from Tech start ups to dog walkers, Fashion designers to Tax Attorneys and Life Coaches - Great people with incredible ideas! With 10, 000 plus professionals like these working in our buildings each day, any business can thrive in this environment, especially if they take full advantage of the membership as it's been designed for them. Events are planned thoughtfully with start ups in mind. The digital platform we have in place is an amazing way to meet others in your industry or in another that may be able to help you build a client base, or a website. Even if a team is working hard on a project and has no time for these platforms for success, professional and Business connections happen here organically in hallways, kitchens, or even in the elevator on your way to lunch. Our mission thus far has been successful. Seeing these successes first hand each and every day in every building is what makes this company great.

Cons

As our team continues to grow it is difficult to see where you fit in the big picture. Long term employees are left feeling as though they've hit the ceiling in salary and growth with the company, their talents and ambitions overlooked while a new hire in set in place to freshly learn company culture and operations through the older employees. An open mind and a public board of positions we are seeking would be give the community a chance to grow as we do, especially in new markets. Investing in our employees through growth leadership seminars and the like would benefit the company and make our employees feel valued.
