Pros

Lots of good people work here. Interesting projects. Opportunities to learn. Work-life balance is okay-ish unless you are in regions outside of big hubs in the US and UK. Experience is valued by the market, especially by smaller companies.

Cons

Promotions are very difficult to get even if you are good at what you do. If you come after uni it may be a very long journey to become someone senior. Every time you apply to a more senior role always asked "how long have you been in the current grade?" but not "what are your skills?". Promotions are also not transparent, they are biased towards people who are close to the executives. A lot of politics... Decisions are made very slowly. Leadership is too risk-averse.

Pros

Work with great, dedicated people.

Cons

With the reorganization, very hard to move up quickly. Expect to work in each role for many years before moving vertically. Additionally, expect to work very hard and long hours due to reduction in headcount.
