I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (Austin, TX) in Aug 2016
Interview
My communication with the senior recruiting manager was ok - a few misunderstanding with my experience that made her seem incompetent, but overall it was pleasant.
It was when I spoke to the next director, that I felt like some words said were unjustified and frankly, rude. It was really surprising to be first, questioned for my decision-making skills because it was not "logical that someone with my experience would want to start entry level at Aerotek" and that the director values someone who makes sound decisions and "this surely wasn't a sign of logic".
I think the harshest part of the interview was when I was asked what other companies I was applying to and why I didn't move to Austin TX first without an offer, and then given a response that I was not convincing enough to show I wanted this role. And that the director "has a team to lead and many things to do, so to say it honestly, there wasn't a hour to waste by continuing to speak with me". Then she hung up.
Sadly, this wasn't the only thing said that shocked me about this conversation. Perhaps this is not unusual for a company like Aerotek? I'm throughly disappointed and you would think a recruiting firm would understand how to treat people who already put in the time and effort to get into a third round of interviewing with your company, to respect that interest. I'm glad I won't be working there and I feel bad for the rest of that poor team.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (Schaumburg, IL) in Nov 2012
Interview
Met a recruiter at a college job fair and had a phone interview the following week. She was very nice and personable. After that I had an in person interview with two account managers for about an hour, they asked almost all behavioral questions, none of which were on the pre-interview prep sheet. Interviews seemed to went well however there was no contact for three weeks when I eventually received a letter in the mail that I was no longer being considered.
