Pros
From the moment I started working at Extra Space I knew I was in for a totally different experience. This company truly believes that by caring and supporting its team members, it in turn will thrive. What got me to apply was the stress on work/life balance in the ad, and they definitely live up to it. They seem to know that happy employees will give more to the companies that support them. While I've only been here for a little over a year, there are many employees who have been with the company for over a decade and you can definitely see why. They want to support you in whatever your goals may be. I've never worked in the storage industry before and the training provided is the best I've ever seen bar none. They didn't let me out on my own until I truly felt empowered to be the storage expert and know that I was in the best position to assist my customers with all their needs. I made my desire for advancement known and have had great support put behind me preparing me for the next step in my career.
Cons
Compared to some of the companies I've worked for in the past, I truly can't think of any. Do the work, and the rewards shall follow!
