      Pros

      Extra Space is a fast paced company where you are in control of how much you learn and how much you are challenged. Management is always willing to provide learning opportunities if you have the desire. The office space is newly renovated. This is a company that likes to be on the cutting edge of the storage industry and keeps up with new technology. No drama with co-workers. This is the best company I have worked for.

      Cons

      Sometimes upper management in some departments can be resistant to change or change can take a long time because of how many hoops have to be gone through. Pay increases are low and slow. Upper management seems unapproachable.

      The culture here is great. Team/Department activities are fun and a good experience. Feels more like a team than just a bunch of individual people on their own. Good Flexibility as well.

      Great Company to work for if you want a Strong Happy balance between your Career and Life

      Pros

      Since day one I have seen the outstanding happy culture this company offers. When a person is working hard on their career it can be hard to balance out life, and family. I have found that this company allows you to balance out your career and life much easier than any other companies I have worked for. The culture around here is great because people are willing to help everyone succeed no matter what position they are in; we all work hard together as a team. It is very important that everyone has a passion for what they do and works professionally, but it is also just as important that everyone is happy everyday. I absolutely love the company and department activities we do. This makes us all work harder and feel more like a huge family rather than just a big corporation.

      Cons

      The only cons I can think of is this company does not offer any sort of tuition reimbursement. I believe this could help keep more employees work harder at furthering their career with Extra Space. I also believe they should have some sort of a system to help employees move up in positions so everyone is always working hard at that goal, and knows there is actually an end in sight to finally be promoted. This way employees are not just working for years waiting for a position to become available. I believe too many employees move on because promotions do not happen quick enough for some of them or they find better paying careers.
