      Pros

      Extra Space empowers and trusts us to make decisions for our Stores on behalf of Extra Space Storage. There's no micromanaging or fear of making mistakes. The Company offers opportunities to grow as the Company grows each year. The training is great and Extra Space is committed to making it a great and enjoyable place to work.

      Cons

      The pay is not terrible, but certainly not great. It can take years to reach the Corporate level. Corporate receives better benefits then the field employees do. The stores are only closed four days a year with Holiday pay. Work/life balance is decent, but could be better with improved pay and benefits. Outside of this, Extra Space is a great place to work.

      Pros

      I joined 19 years ago and have never considered going elsewhere. As a former big box multi store leader, the work life balance at Extra Space is like a wonderful gift every day. Here, I feel like I make a difference and my ideas are valued.

      Cons

      We have amazing people who work here and we need more to keep up with our growth!

      Pros

      The people who you get to work with are awesome. I work in Customer Acquisition and it is a fantastic group. The work is engaging, there is a great appetite for testing and trying new things, and it is mixed with the right amount of fun. Our CMO James is a great leader to work with.

      Cons

      No negatives that are not controllable. If a problem / opportunity is there, you can usually work with others to fix it.
