Pros

The company is successful, so Job security is mostly guaranteed, plus, they have a hard time hiring so you dont have to worry about getting replaced. The corp office is very nice and my cube has a window overlooking the salt lake valley.

Cons

IT is not respected in this company at all. It is hard to get over feeling like a second class citizen in this environment. The technology is antiquated and difficult to support. The management style of the executives is fear and insult based and most people are scared for their jobs or contemplating quitting because they get tired of the insults.

Pros

Most coworkers were cool. Given a lot of responsibility. They generally leave you alone to run the store how you see fit.... as long as it's working.

Cons

Worked almost every Saturday. Constant mystery shops. Unreasonable expectations from management. Store performance is based on stupid measurements rather than important things like rentals, revenue, promotional use, merchandise sales, etc. Upper management always finds something to complain about. Your store can put up great numbers in every important financial category and they'll still complain.
