Change of pace at ESS

Pros

After 33 years of big box, brick & mortar and unique gifts shops, I have found ESS Extra special. I wanted a job going into retirement that I could go home and relax, not spend 20 minutes venting to my husband. Everyone I have met is friendly, considerate and always genuinely willing to help. I can't remember when or if ever I have felt that way at work.

Cons

There is always something to do at ESS. I haven't really found anything that I would say it a con yet. Sure it gets slow and quiet, but most people just like seeing a smiling face with a wave when they come in to access their unit.

Company culture isn't just talked about, it is an integral part of every interaction. Every day we work hard to make ourselves and our locations the best, but NEVER at the expense of teammates or customers. And I have yet to be even close to bored, every day is different.

Cons

There is so much to learn. Not that this is a con, but it can be a challenge.
