Pros

If you can live the the "cons" below, then the one and only reason to join this company is that you can earn a lot of money.

Cons

As with many other sales organisations (that is of course, if you apply for a role in Sales) this is a hell of a boiler room. I tell you, you have no idea what you will be put through. If you want to have any chance of becoming (financially) successful at Ink you have to be prepared to work for at least 60-70 hours per week. I know of many people who feel under so much pressure to invest even more time than that! And because of this, I have seen more relationships break up than at any other place before. People go home after 10-12 hours in the office only to go straight back on to the computer for lead sourcing. Private life? Forget it! Think of enjoying a nice weekend without thinking of Ink and work? Well, think again! You won´t have one! Other than that, it´s all roses. ;))

I am the NEW HR person at Ink in London and I’m responsible for recruitment worldwide. As we are entering a new level of growth and positive change, I want to address and answer a number of points that have been raised here on Glassdoor. I only wish to present facts in a clear and open way. Firstly, I am available on Victoria.Hearn@ink-global.com if anyone wishes to contact me directly. From previous reviews, we can indeed say that yes, you will be under pressure to perform, but that is the media industry today. We also know that Ink will not be conducive to all candidates and we are open to people just being honest with themselves and us about their employment aims and aspirations. We know that not everyone will adapt to, and succeed in a sales environment – but if you are driven to succeed, the opportunities are there for the taking. We are entrepreneurial and we only want for our colleagues to be the same.

Pros

Flexible, as long as you perform well, you're good

Cons

Not stable, always changing. If not the commission structure, they change the seating arrangements, the team, the leaders etc

Thanks for your feedback. We understand that organisational culture differs not just from continent to continent, but from country to country and we appreciate and celebrate these differences. Our company shares best practice, and has taken many great ideas from Singapore. We are always looking to improve the culture and organisational environment. Seating arrangements, team, or team leaders may sometimes change in order have the breath of fresh air and to increase productivity and collaboration at work place. We consider such matter important. If you think that seating arrangement at your office is still not optimal, please do drop us an email or respond to this review anonymously and we will arrange the best solution for you! We appreciate your feedback and are happy to solve any negative review! My personal email is: Victoria.Hearn@ink-global.com

Pros

Errrr loads actually....number 1 media company in the world in its sector, working on airline partner brands that are known throughout the world, global travel, real career prospects for those that actually want a career, high earnings for those that actually want to make a difference, surrounded by those that know what they are talking about and you can learn from, working with advertisers that are household names..many many pros in working for Ink..when someone says "sales is hard"..really they are saying "sales is not for me"..fair enough don't do sales.

Cons

As with every sales house in the world..if you under perform you wont succeed, if you don't care you wont succeed, if you have a bad attitude you wont succeed, if you believe that 2 out of 8 hours on the phone a day selling global products is to much then..wait for it..yes wont succeed...their not Ink's cons, they are sales cons.
