Pros

-If you are in the top 10% you will earn you promised living -Handing in my notice

Cons

Miserable sales floor, overfilled yet always changing. Poor management, encouraged to lie to clients. Products are utterly useless and under preform. - Company claims to have a 'digital product' that is a joke and shows a complete lack of understanding. Commission is not 10% although job is advertised at this rate.

We appreciate your feedback and we encourage all our employees (former and current) to drop us an email or leave a review if they want to discuss things further. Please not that in last four years things have changed massively: 1. We have new trainers to give everyone the opportunity to succeed 2. We have a new management systems in place 3. We have restructured the teams on the sales floor 4. We have new sales software to help teams convert business 5. For years, we have had a constant and transparent commission structure 6. Our company is growing year on year as is our media

Pros

For sales reps the money is okay.

Cons

No amount of money is worth the hassle. I would not recommend considering a job with this company, the morale is low, the turnover is high and the demands are unreasonable. The conflict with inside sales reps and outside rep firms who are able to sell discounted ads is a problem.

As this feedback was written four years ago we can optimistically say that a lot of things changed at Ink (from the location to recruitment strategies) in order to improve our business management, communications and connections. We appreciate your feedback.

Totally Demoralising Workplace

Pros

Very little to say in this section. One or two decent people in the sales and editorial departments.

Cons

I could write a book on this. Appalling culture of bullying, sexism, dishonesty and ageism. It is as though this company is trapped in Life On Mars. Any attempt at real achievement and success is soon knocked into pieces by stealth cutting of commission rates. Enormous turnover of employees in revolving door policy. Rumours of editorial staff abusing contractual perks given by airlines for inflight publishing. Not a good company for anybody to consider a long term career in unless you wish to be a "doormat" for middle and senior management.

Thank you for taking time to tell us about your feedback. We would just like to point out that during the previous year’s Ink has work hard to restructure its business strategies - from recruitment to rewards strategies - and that we are currently experiencing stable period of growth.
