      Extra Space continues to impress me year over year as I've grown with the organization. Our people are definitely what makes the difference. Extra Space truly cares about our external and internal customers. We don't just talk the talk, we walk the walk, everyone from Spencer Kirk to our store team. We're constantly being innovative to keep up with rapidly changing technology and the industry. If you're looking for a dynamic, fun, challenging and welcoming place to work, where you are empowered to make decisions, Extra Space is the place to be.

      Cons

      We have many avenues for career advancement especially for entry level store positions. If you are in a position outside of the store level and you are not relocatable, it may be more challenging to advance to higher level positions. Fortunately, with the empowerment given, you can still be challenged in your current role if you don't have the ability to relocate to another area.

      This is the best company I have ever worked with, They value their employees and most jobs are filled with in house people making advancement the top priority.

      My only downside is the distance from my home which is a personal problem
