      Petline's culture of intelligence, desire to share knowledge and give the best service to our clients makes this startup an amazing company for work for. Petline's goal is to improve the life of pets via giving clients access to every pet service at their finger tips and offers lots of support to both it's employees and clients.

      Cons

      Working at a startup can be a bit of a rollercoaster ride.

      Pros

      Excellent culture with a team full of dedicated animal lovers who are very knowledgeable in their respective fields CEO takes the time to get to know his employees and recognizes excellent work. HR is responsive, kind, and approachable. The team has a positive attitude and we all work together to support each other and build this new company. Amazing and unique opportunity to work remotely as a veterinarian. This has provided me with work life balance and job diversity. Great way to contribute to the profession. There is a ton of misinformation regarding pet health online. It is incredible to provide direct access to veterinarians, behaviorists, nutritionists, and groomers 24/7 so that pet parents can make the best decisions for their pets. I truly believe this will help save lives. We are not trying to replace in person veterinary care, but to compliment it. I think reliable knowledge and education for pet parents is so important and will benefit everyone. The benefits are great and some of them are even better than those I've had working for large corporations.

      Cons

      It's a startup so that is not going to be the right fit for everyone. It requires flexibility and the ability to think outside of the box to help the company succeed.

      Pros

      Here's something fun: Petline hasn't launched yet but they've already made me a better pet-parent. Now certainly, "become a better pet-parent" wasn't one of my goals when I accepted the role, but I've been surprised a few times by my personal growth since I joined the team. On career goals I'll say this: to the credit of the management team at Petline, they've recognized talents and areas I where I thrive before I did. I've been given opportunities that I didn't expect and for which I am deeply grateful. Back to pet-parenting, Petline is a startup and every person at this company is heavily committed to our mission and goals. Just working alongside like-minded folks has made me consider who I am as a pet-parent. I know my pets better than I did before and I know they are happier for it. Petline won't always be a startup, but I'm confident that as we move forward it will be with integrity and the intention to foster an environment where individual strengths are recognized, and weaknesses are supported.

      Cons

      Petline is a startup and anyone familiar with the concept should know that it takes hard work, a lot of brainpower, and constant flexibility. It can be hard to accept and frustrating when business decisions seem to flow and change like water, but it's rewarding. It might not be for right for everyone, but when it's right, it's right.
