      Lots of work, but good company

      Very supportive company, good benefits, okay pay.

      Cons

      Workload can be overwhelming; Claims are counted by claim number and not number of claimants, so this can lead to you getting a minivan claim where management sees it as you only having gotten one claim that day but your work is multiplied by 4 or 5 depending on how many claimants were in the vehicle.

      Staff want to do good work and grow with the company Benefits and pay are good Flexibility to work where it makes sense HR cares about the people Tremendous opportunity to learn with the recent transition from mutual to public

      Cons

      The amount of work and expectations are unreasonable The volume of ongoing projects to fix what is broken constantly overlaps Communication from the top down is minimal at best Claims volumes and number of direct reports per leader makes the work unmanageable Unless you are an external applicant and come from a specific company, forget about advancement.

      Below average pay, extremely subjective work environment

      Reasonable work-life balance. But highly depending on department, manager and work cycles

      Poor pay - Salaries completly disconnected from economic climate Extremely subjective progression opportunities- based on pedigree. Basically gender, race and origins are defining career progression. A ton of empty propaganda pushed down on employees - better here are empty words.

      Entrenched culture, resistant to change, lots of redundancies. Multiple units doing the same thing. Poor morale from some legacy employees.
